The Bishop of Sherborne is delighted to announce the Revd Donna Gibbs has been appointed as the new Team Rector of Shaftesbury (subject to the necessary statutory checks).

The Village Pump
An informal monthly meeting for rural clergy and laity to meet to share ideas and concerns about rural life, the church and its outreach, hosted by the Rural Field Officer for Dorset, will meet again in December.
The Power of Music
Music holds the power to bring people together in different ways. It makes us expressive, helps us understand and it brings calm and positivity into our daily lives. This year, the Church of England is using the power of music and releasing a Christmas single to encourage more people to hear the real Christmas story.
