Christmas Rebrand

To make it easier to invite people to your Christmas services and events, the online church-finder ‘A Church Near You’, has had a festive make-over, and here’s a quick whistle stop tour to help you make the most of the platform this festive season. 

What’s new? 

You’ll notice that a new block has been added to your homepage which invites people to explore your Advent and Christmas events, you will need to make sure that your events are updated on this section so people know what’s on in their local area. A new 'Advent and Christmas' tab has also been added, you can find this in your events section, showing all one-off events scheduled for 24 or 25 December, along with all events tagged with the Advent or Christmas tags. 

Why do I need to do this?  

Put simply, keeping your listing up to date will help highlight your Advent and Christmas events to visitors, meaning increased footfall, exposure, and awareness of your church and activities in your local area. 

How do I enable the new features? 

Don’t worry, if you are already signed up to the platform, the new benefits have been applied to all churches - so you don't need to enable anything! This means that the Christmas tick box you may have used in previous years has been removed.
