The Village Pump

by ajack last modified 01 Dec, 2021 04:10 PM

An informal monthly meeting for rural clergy and laity to meet to share ideas and concerns about rural life, the church and its outreach, hosted by the Rural Field Officer for Dorset, will meet again in December.

The group, launched in July, will hold its final gathering of the year on Saturday 4th December to look back and share Rural Hope Stories as an encouragement for 2022. It’ll be a feel-good meeting, where everyone will share stories of hope whilst dressed in Christmas hats and jumpers and enjoying a glass of mulled wine and minced pie.

The gathering will take place from 9.00am - 10.30am and everyone is welcome (you don’t need to stay the whole time!). If you would like to join the ZOOM meeting, please email Canon Richard Hancock RFO for Dorset at RFODorset@salisbury.anglican.org.

Please note, The Village Pump will be taking a break in January and will be back 5th February 2022.
