Welcome aboard!
The Bishop of Sherborne is delighted to announce the Revd Donna Gibbs has been appointed as the new Team Rector of Shaftesbury (subject to the necessary statutory checks).
Donna is currently Pioneer Team Vicar in North Lambeth in the Southwark Diocese, prior to that she was curate in Ipswich, spending some of that time as acting Rector of four rural parishes. Donna trained at Sarum College and comes with experience of youth ministry, and encouraging lay ministry, she also has a background in the health care sector.
Donna will bring experience, energy, and an eagerness to work with all-ages to the team and will be moved to Shaftesbury in February and her Institution, Induction and Installation will be on Tuesday 1st March at 7pm.
