A Special Day for Wilton Branch

Mothers’ Union Diocesan President, Rosie Stiven, was pleased to present three members of Wilton Mothers’ Union with certificates and gifts of flowers for 50 years' membership.

This was part of the ‘Celebration of Faithful Membership’ in St Peter’s church, Fugglestone.

The two members pictured are Nancy Morland and Anne Lort. Bertha Hewlett, who unfortunately was not well enough to attend, also received flowers and her certificate at home.

Marking this outstanding combined membership of 150 years was a wonderful way of celebrating all that Mothers’ Union has done over its own 140 years of existence and the contribution in our own parish of past and present support of family life by MU members.

The group enjoyed tea and cakes afterwards on the patio at the Wilton House Garden Centre Café.
