A Day at the Seaside

by Michael Ford last modified 20 Jun, 2016 01:41 PM

Open Day at the Mothers’ Union six-berth holiday home in Rockley Park, Poole

When I visited Rockley Park for their Open Day, Chris, Pam, June and Jo were already in full swing preparing for the arrival of the next family who would be staying for the May Half Term. Linen was being changed, laundry was being done, the carpet was being hoovered, floors were being mopped, and the bathroom was positively glistening. If all this activity wasn’t enough, a Welcome Pack was being prepared for the family also.

Rockley Park is a glorious place on the Dorset coast. The Park has its own beach and visitors have access to two open air swimming pools, an indoor pool, a spa and several restaurants. And I mustn’t forget to mention the crazy golf, the climbing wall, the trampoline, the huge variety of outdoor activities, the soft play area for the little tots and of course, use of all members’ facilities.

The holiday home is ideal for families, for carers and for couples. In short, it’s ideal for anyone who just needs to get away. If you know of any family in need of a holiday, or perhaps, you would like to go there yourself, there are still one or two dates available outside of School holidays for this year and we are already taking bookings for 2017. So, please don’t leave it too late.

Here are the numbers to make your booking:

Bookings: 07981 743627 MU Office: 01722 333402

Well done and thank you to Chris and her team for all their organisation and hard work.

Rosie Stiven
