Pandemic leaves 1.1m teenagers isolated and unhappy
Nearly 1.1m children aged 10-17 in the UK have reported being unhappy with their lives as a whole during the coronavirus lockdown, according to a survey by the Children’s Society.

2020 is a mixed year for the Sutton Veny Women’s Institute. This year they commemorate their 100th anniversary, but sadly, this branch of the WI will also disband in December.
The Bishop of Bristol is new safeguarding lead
The Bishop of Bristol, Bishop Viv Faull has been appointed a deputy lead bishop for safeguarding, liaising with diocesan bishops on behalf of the National Safeguarding Steering Group (NSSG) and with the wider Anglican Communion, and speaking on safeguarding in the House of Lords.
