Safeguarding – The protection of all children and adults in our community

by Michael Ford last modified 10 Jun, 2022 09:37 AM
Welcome to the Diocese of Salisbury Safeguarding school’s section

The Salisbury Diocese Board of Education is committed to the safeguarding of all children in our schools. We recognise that the welfare of the child is paramount, and that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. The Local Authority remains the statutory body responsible for safeguarding but the DBE will support school staff, parents/carers and members of the parish if they are worried that a child may not be safe. We will work in partnership with all agencies. Please do contact us if you feel you require help or advice. By working together, we are helping to protect all children and young people.
