Employing a Youth or Children's Worker

by Michael Ford last modified 16 Feb, 2018 12:37 PM

Some churches across the diocese have or are keen to invest in employing a youth and/ or children's worker. Getting the right professional in place can help you develop your work with under 18s and their families.

The CYP team can offer help and advice for all stages of the process. From scoping a role, finding the finance, recruiting and supporting and developing post holders and line managers. We are always happy to be involved right from the early planning stages so please do get in touch.

If you are an employed youth, children or families worker we are also here for you. We can link you in with local networks and other youth organisations, support you in your role and working relationships and offer advice around training and career development.

This resource folder contains some materials that may help you begin to plan a post and understand what is involved.
