'Ringers of the Year' finally awarded
The much-delayed presentations of the Salisbury Guild Ringer of the Year Awards for 2019 were made on 3rd November 2020.

While communal worship inside our church buildings is paused for the next month due to the lockdown restrictions, our parishes have continued with whatever has increased attendance for broadcast services and reach via internet, phone and email, and some are continuing with their 'new normal' of innovation.
New name, new chapter
Our Diocese is blessed with a variety of church buildings at our disposal, with a mixture of listed, modern and ancient sites all being used for prayer, contemplation, outreach, activities (when permissible), and gatherings of various kinds.
Church choir gets upgraded to "cathedral" standard
International social media giant Facebook has paid unwitting tribute to All Saints Church Choir, Wyke Regis, by mistaking their excellent singing for that of a cathedral choir.
Challenge and Hope
This week, our Bishops continue their successful Episcopal Zoom Meetings with our Deaneries, which are revealing a strong sense of the challenge churches face, as well as a deep hope for the future.
Bulbs for loved ones
November is a season of remembering those we have loved who are no longer with us, with All Saints, All Souls and Remembrance all falling within this month. As ever, our parishes and schools seek to bring comfort and hope to our communities in these times.

Bishop Nicholas has written to all the MPs in his Diocese to register his “dismay at the proposed restrictions on places of worship”.

Our Bishops have joined with the Archbishops of Canterbury and York and other senior church leaders, who are inviting Christians to pray for the nation over the next month of lockdown.
