What We Believe
A brief summary.
Christians are followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that God has been fully revealed to the world in him, his life, his death and his resurrection.
We believe that God’s raising Jesus from the dead is a sign of hope and forgiveness for all. We believe he is the living Head of the Church who prays ceaselessly for all his people.
Christianity is the faith of Christians: a living relationship with God, a covenant we are baptised into, revealed through the words of the Bible and the witness of Christians over 2,000 years.
Anglicans are Christians whose Bishop is under the leadership of the Archbishop of Canterbury. We constitute a worldwide family of churches, with historic roots in England.
