Behind much of the work in church music taking place in the Diocese lies financial backing in the form of generous grants from The Tindall Trust.
Behind much of the work in church music taking place in the Diocese lies financial backing in the form of generous grants from The Tindall Trust. The trust has already helped to establish the Certificate in Church Music and the pipe-up! project.
The Trust subsidises:
- Individual lesson charges
- Workshop charges
- Hire of church buildings and organs
The Tindall Trust wishes to support young musicians who want to have lessons on the organ. The hope is that the lack of organists in our churches will not be a problem for future generations. The Trust is particularly interested in supporting young musicians who do not have access to organs for lessons in their school and who may never have considered the possibility of playing this wonderful instrument.
