We've been live streaming Morning Prayer at 9am every weekday morning via Teams and live streaming a Sunday service via Teams at 9.30am each Sunday, conducted from our studies. It's been wonderful to know that people are joining us for these services and we are starting to think about how we might use this technology after the present period of social isolating. We've also set up a Facebook page as well as our benefice website. We have a network of people forwarding emails to people in our communities as well. For those without Internet access people are printing off worship materials and information and delivering these to people. Each of our communities has set up a way of looking after the members of the community. These vary depending on the size of the village.

Our clergy and lay people from around the team are contributing to a Sunday service each week from 8am that is streamed on our website. Requests for prayer can be made there, and there are links to numerous resources including Daily Reflections from our Deanery and Bishop Andrew’s ‘Going to Ground’ series. Our clergy and members of our congregations have volunteered to help local community assistance groups with things like collecting prescriptions and doing shopping. A telephone ‘buddy’ scheme is operating for those who would like a chat. The Sofa Sheet (previously known as the Pew Sheet) is published weekly online with news and pictures from around the Team. Our youth, children and families team (YACHT) is also providing resources for people at home. In particular, the monthly Stepping Stones service is currently done online via the website and existing Facebook page. During Holy Week the leaders produced a daily film that included a craft activity for the children and culminated in a wonderful service of celebration (and great fun!) on Easter Day.
