The DBE send out cards to all Headteachers and CEO's to spread a little joy and let them know how much their work means.
Stacks of cards to bring Joy
Some of the Staff at the Salisbury Diocesan Board of Education got together last Thursday (19th November). They spent some time together 'piecing' together cards and jigsaw puzzle pieces.
This was so that a card with a personal message coul be sent to the headteachers of every school, along with the CEO's of each Multi Academy Trust in Salisbury Diocese.
Since then, many have already received their card in the post, and as a result the SDBE have received several emails of gratitude and thanks for the gesture.
As a DBE we hope that these cards will bring them joy, but also a sense that all the hard work that is being done in schools across Wiltshire and Dorset is valued. We know that this year has created challenging moments, but the schools have risen to the occasion and continue to support and guide thousands of children and young people.
