Thy Kingdom Come - in Warminster
Thy Kingdom Come, the global wave of prayer, wasn't just an event for churches, as one Wiltshire primary school demonstrated admirably.
During a 'Thy Kingdom Come' assembly, children from the Minster C of E School in Warminster learned how the Lord's Prayer was translated into 39 languages 150 years ago by Princess Aurelie, a French Princess who moved to Israel.
One pupil dressed as a Princess with gold crown and robe, and two others read from Luke's Gospel 'How Jesus taught his Disciples to Pray'.
The whole school also sang a modern version of the Lord's Prayer.
