Looking to the Rainbow – something special to share with everyone

by Emma Waters last modified 21 May, 2020 01:14 PM

We may not be all together at the moment, but schools across the country have been encouraged to join in with the Church of England’s #faithathome project, involving singing in a ‘virtual choir’.

Woodborough School's Virtual Choir

Woodborough CE Primary School has brought the voices of pupils together to bring us all something very special.

The children have taken part in this national singing project, which was launched recently by the Church of England in their #faithathome adventure.

Sarah Brewis, Headteacher said, “We’d like to say thank you to all the pupils and their families who have been involved. We say an extra special and very big THANK YOU to Mr Partis, for his time, patience and creativity in bringing the project together.”

You can watch and listen to The ‘Woodborough School Lockdown Choir’ ’Looking to the Rainbow’ song by clicking here. We are sure you will all enjoy it!

Looking to the Rainbow is a brand-new song from Nick & Becky Drake for schools to perform during the Covid-19 lockdown. Details of the project are on their Worship for Everyone website here  Or you can follow them on Twitter here @W4E1

If you know of a school who might like to join in, do share this article; the more the merrier!
