New Social Media Charter
The Church of England has published social media advice aimed at tackling offensive behaviour and misleading content and encouraging a positive atmosphere for online conversations, with guidelines and a charter.
£155m to be invested in establishing a "stronger" Christian presence.
An additional £155m is set to be invested by the Church of England over the next 3 years to develop places of worship, provide support to low income areas, and grow the priesthood.

On Sunday June 30th, 4 women and 4 men aged between 30 and 60 years old will be ordained Deacon at Salisbury Cathedral and begin their first year of ministry as Assistant Curate in the Diocese of Salisbury.

On Saturday (June 29th) the Bishop of Salisbury, the Rt Revd Nicholas Holtam will be ordaining 7 Deacons from our Diocese as Priests.

Bishop Nicholas told Diocesan Synod that by gathering together members had a "duty to reflect both on our Church life and the context in which we meet."
