Wanted - Children and Families Minister
St Luke’s Church in Parkstone is looking for a Children's and Families Minister to join their team.
The ad says the church is looking for someone who:
- "Lives the way of Christ and is committed to our values and mission
- "Can help us nurture and inspire children, young people and families in the Christian faith
- "Will oversee and develop a team in our ministry to the young
- "Has experience, theological and pastoral aptitude, enthusiasm and administrative ability"
The post is half-time, and the Children’s and Families Minister will work alongside the vicar and committed volunteers to oversee their ministry to children up to school year 6 and their families, as well as assisting with youth ministry.
St Luke's can offer supportive and caring fellowship, a salary of up to £25,000 pro rata (ie £12,500) for a 20-hour week, realistic expectations, and flexibility according to personal circumstances.
The start date is also flexible.
