Towards a Common Vision

by Michael Ford last modified 08 Jan, 2020 12:35 PM

A day conference ‘The Church: Towards a Common Vision and Principles of Christian Law’ takes place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, 8th February 2020.

The conference will include discussions on ‘juridical ecumenism’ – the attempt to find common ground in the canon laws, rules, norms and principles in each of a number of different church traditions – which has opened up a new pathway in ecumenical studies and development.

The main speakers are the Revd Dr Susan Durber (Moderator of the World Council of Churches Faith and Order Commission) and the Revd Dr Paul Goodliff (Churches Together in England’s General Secretary).

The Churches Together in England event is hosted by the Society for Ecumenical Studies, and open to all.
