The annual Wimborne Minster Pancake Race had to be held in the Minster for only the third time in its 23 year history due to the wet weather conditions, but the winner of the fastest time didn't change.
In spite of this there was a large attendance and entries in all categories.
There were 24 adult runners and each ran round the inside of the Minster individually on a timed basis, the eventual winner being Philip Goymer who ran in the fastest time.
It was Philip's FIFTH win in a row, and he said that it was his last year, to give others a chance to win in the future.
