The Sherborne Office is on the move!

by Michael Ford last modified 18 Dec, 2019 04:14 PM

After a number of months looking for a new location for the Sherborne Office, next month the Sherborne Team will be moving to Stourpaine.

The location is more convenient from Iwerne Minster, and will be just a short distance from the Blandford ring road and the road to Salisbury from Dorchester and Sturminster Newton. The offices will provide hot-desking facilities for diocesan staff, as well as a meeting room for church and diocesan groups. More details of booking this room will be given in the New Year.

Bishop Karen said:

"This cost-neutral move will enable us to integrate with small local businesses on a farm site and further support the rural economy, as well as offer a facility to diocesan staff and the wider church. We are extremely grateful to St Nicholas, Corfe Mullen, who have given us a home for the last few years and for their generous hospitality, however this move will give us larger premises and will ensure more efficient ways of working as we continue to serve the churches and communities of Dorset."

Over the Christmas and New Year period, please contact the Bishop and Archdeacons directly, and you will be directed from there. It is hoped that all will be set up at Ash Farm by Monday 6th January.

The emails for the Office staff will be:
Lynda Booth (PA to the Archdeacons):
Lisa Cowley (PA to Bishop Karen):

The new address is:
Ash Farm Studio Barns, Ash Farm, Stourpaine, Dorset DT11 8PW
