What do you do when you need to fund a new prayer space? Well some in our Diocese get on their bikes!

Cycling from Cheverell & Lavington to Cornwall and covering the span of 180 miles over three days, The Wednesday Cyclists have raised an immense £425 to buy resources for prayer spaces and activities for the children and young people of the benefice of The Lavingtons, The Cheverells and Easterton.
The Wednesday Cyclists, aka, Caroline, Anna and Nicola, church-goers in the benefice are fundraising again – this time to fund resources to create intergenerational prayer spaces and activities that share the love of God with children and families for the five schools within their benefice.
Last year, they made over 200 Christingles and created two 'Prayer Weaving Stations' at Pentecost as well as a display of beautiful white and red poppies for Remembrance that children had written prayers and memories on.
Nicola commented:
“Thank you to everyone who has supported our epic cycle ride from Wiltshire to Cornwall! We are thrilled to have completed the ride which took us 3 days. We cycled over 180 miles in total!”
