Thank You Vicar!
A week that allows you to say Thank You to your clergy, as well as raising funds for their healthcare is back again this autumn.
'Thank Your Vicar Week' which invites schools and churches to celebrate their vicar and all they do for the local community will be taking place between October 13th and 20th.
Churches and schools that join in are also invited to encourage fundraising, however small, for St Luke’s Healthcare for the Clergy, a charity which cares for the health and wellbeing of Anglican clergy and their families. St Luke’s has been providing physical and psychological healthcare for members of the clergy and their families since 1892.
The charity says:
"You can make your event as simple or as momentous as you want – a special school assembly, a celebration in church, a cake sale, a coffee morning."
