And among those speaking to the Bournemouth William Temple Association, who welcomes Christian men and women of all denominations are our own Bishop Nicholas, Canon James Woodward and the Chaplain to Dorset Police, Anglican Ecumenical Officer for Dorset.

The Revd Simon Evans, Vicar of St Thomas’ Church, Ensbury Park, will start the programme of monthly talks on October 7th with 'There is something special about this place – finding God in Thin Places.' while his colleague at St Thomas's, the Revd Dr David Wheeler will talk on 'Ministry to Victims - Forgiveness, Healing and ‘Chesed’' next March.

Bishop Nicholas will be 'Getting Ready for Lambeth' in May next year, while as principal of Sarum College, Canon James will be talking on 'Befriending Age? – Exploring a Reframing of the Social, Theological and Political Dimensions of Age'.

In December Mr Andrew Wileman, the Deputy Director, Older People’s Services, Salvation Army will talk on the Army's theology and mission and on February 3rd the LGBT Evangelical and campaigning Director of the Ozanne Foundation, Jayne Ozanne will give a talk on 'Love, Sex and Power'.

The group meets at the Marsham Court Hotel, Russell-Cotes Road, normally on the first Monday of each month from October until May. Members are invited to bring guests and dinner is optional. The talks start at 8.10pm and are followed by a time of questions.
