Synod Meets

As well as this being primarily the AGM of the Diocesan Board of Finance, members will also receive a presentation on the approach staff are taking to review Fairer Share, discuss the 2020 Budget, and consider Bishop John Gladwin's recent review of Renewing Hope.

Our Diocesan Secretary David Pain said:

"We will be looking at Bishop John Gladwin's report as part of the feedback process which is open until July 5th. If you would like to make your personal response, there is still time."

He also thanked those who had helped shape the new look Annual Report and Budget Guide:

"Thank you to everyone who has helped and for the brilliant work the Finance Team has done to create a new Budget Guide format that is clearly more transparent and hopefully easily understood.

"The Annual Report gives a great overview of the work undertaken during 2018 - well worth a read, and hopefully you can see your part in the collective difference we are making."
