Sudans money put to good use
Bishop Francis Loyo's daughter Aja Hannah Loyo has written from the Diocese of Rokon with grateful thanks regarding financial help with funds for 2 schools and her father's medical fees.
She says:
"Many greetings from Uganda and South Sudan. Bishop Francis Loyo and the entire Diocese of Rokon greet you and the Deanery at large.
"I hope and pray that this email finds you and your family well. It has been a while since I wrote back to you and given you information about the transfer you made and also about my father's health.
"Bishop Francis Loyo is doing fairly well and we are very grateful for all your support and prayers for him. Soon he will be joining us here in Uganda for some time until he is fully recovered.
"Please on behalf of Bishop Francis I would like to thank you for your support as a Deanery to help with his medical costs. We have finally cleared all the bills he had in Juba Hospital and he is at home waiting for his travel to Kampala, Uganda.
"I want to make it clear that the funds were used to benefit the schools and also Bishop Francis' hospital bills in Juba.
"The biggest challenges they face is that their water pump has broken down and needs to be repaired as soon as possible, also the lack of more classrooms in the school.
"The running costs of the school is quite a big problem too because now that Bishop Francis is down they will not be able to raise funds that can continue pushing the 2 schools.
"Once Bishop Francis Loyo is much better, he will be able to share with you, as per now this is the message I was asked to pass and also you had asked for some news and update from me.
"Thank you for your understanding and your patience. In case of any information and clarity you can email me, I will be happy to pass the message and write back to you as soon as I can.
"God bless you."
