South West Prays

by Michael Ford last modified 09 Apr, 2020 06:24 AM

Churches across the South West are being asked to unite in prayer on Easter Sunday evening at 8pm to pray for our region.

Bishop Karen has joined Bishop Philip from Truro and Bishop Nick from Plymouth in leading the prayer which will start at 8pm.

Organisers hope it will be the biggest prayer meeting the South West has ever seen, at a time when we desperately need to seek God on behalf of our world, our nation and our region.

The South West prayer online gathering is being hosted by Rediscover Church Exeter, and the idea is simply to have a prayer moment where across denominations we gather to pray for all that is going on as the Church across the region.

The gathering will be interactive and last around 30-40 minutes, with a focus for a few minutes on each county where it is hoped they will be able to invite church leaders from across the region to lead in prayer on themes such as the renewal of the Church, frontline workers, and the NHS.
