A children's choir from our southernmost benefice has joined the Devon County Junior Choir (DCJC) to sing at a concert in Exeter Cathedral.

The Children’s Choir from St Michael The Archangel in Lyme Regis sang 3 songs with DCJC including ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight?’ by Elton John, and a further 2 as part of a mass choir made up of DCJC, St Michael’s, Exeter Cathedral choristers, and other schools from Devon.

The final song ‘No Wars Will Stop Us Singing’, with approximately 200 children singing beautifully, left a lasting memory with all in attendance.

The choir are now preparing for Christmas and will sing at the St Michael’s Carol Service on Sunday 22nd December at 4pm. The children in the choir are aged between 6 to 15 and are drawn from 5 local schools.
