Shining Star
Blandford Church is using a shining star as a message of Renewing Hope during the coronavirus.
St Peter and St Paul, in the centre of the Dorset market town has illuminated the star in its famous Cupola.
A message on Facebook said:
"At Christmas it reminded us that Jesus, the light of the world, had come into the world. At this time it reminds us that the light of Christ shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it.
"We pray for light in dark places, courage for the dying, for peace that is beyond understanding, wisdom and endurance for those treating the sick, and give thanks for the love we see in the actions of our neighbours."
