Rural Hope Goes Transatlantic

Our Rural Hope Programme Manager’s husband was so taken with the Rural Hope 2020 Calendar, which features 12 scenes from our rural parishes taken by local photographers, that he took a copy with him to Miami when he visited a friend recently.

But he didn't bring it home with him, as his friend was so impressed he wanted to keep it, and it is now on his wall in the Sunshine state of Florida.

Programme Manager Sarah Keen said:

"The calendar is now prominently displayed in our friend's apartment overlooking Biscayne Bay.

"It will no doubt become a talking point and who knows what little acorns of faith may be planted as people admire the rural scenes and ask about the meaning of Rural Hope?”
