As a Diocese, prayer underlines all we do.
Our Vision of 'Renewing Hope: Pray Serve Grow' has encouraged us to make prayer central whenever we meet, inspired us to create more opportunities to pray together and provided resources to help communities develop corporate and individual prayer life.
Prayer can take many forms and at one Dorset Church, their United Service allowed them to really push the boat out!
At St Mary’s Church, Lytchett Matravers, they launched prayer boats as they offered intercessions to God for those people, places and situations that he put on their hearts and in their minds.
The simple prayer activity inspired the congregation - we hope it inspires you.
