"Preakfast" is served

by ajack last modified 05 Nov, 2021 11:04 AM

Going to university doesn’t necessarily mean young people disconnect from church. Two girls from the south of the Diocese share their experience via their Parish Newsletter.

Margaret Trafford, the Team Administrator of the Golden Cap Team, spanning West Dorset and East Devonshared her encouragement as to what the future of the Christian Faith holds, as two daughters have left for university and joined the Christian Union, in their weekly newsletter.

She said:

One attends "Loughborough University and has been involved in a host of events such as: Sunday Services run on campus or in the town, ‘Open Heaven’ that takes place in the SU nightclub, Morning prayer ‘preakfast'Evening Explore Group, Globe Cafe for international students, Fellowship Group, Christians in sport, prayer lunch Prunch’ and she reports back that over 60 young people attend most events!"

It's wonderful to see so many activities available to our youth at university today.
