Plastic Free July

by Michael Ford last modified 10 Jul, 2020 11:50 PM

This month, you are being challenged to go plastic free and give up as much single-use plastic as you can.

The organisers of Plastic Free July have provided resources and ideas to help you reduce your plastic waste everyday at home, work, school, and even at your local café.

The movement has inspired over 250 million participants in 177 countries.

The Chair of our Diocesan Environmental Group, David Morgan welcomed the initiative and said:

“Each of us needs to look at our lifestyle regularly and ask how we can use less plastic. Why not take the opportunity of this nationwide campaign to examine how we can reduce our use of plastic – particularly any single-use items?”

You can read more about the campaign and sign up for the challenge here,
