The prize for the annual Wiltshire Ride and Stride 'Best Achieving Church' has been won for the NINTH year in succession by St James' Bratton.

Bratton fielded 48 participants in Ride+Stride and raised over £1,700.

Charles Graham, from the Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust that organises the event, presented the Brooke Cup for the best achieving church in this year's Ride+Stride to Cally Walters, one of the parish organisers, who accepted it along with Rector of Bratton the Revd Andrew Sinclair, and Lord Brooke.

It was Charles' final year as Ride and Stride Administrator for Wiltshire, his successor has been announced as Fiona Draper, who lives and works in the Bristol Diocese.
