New role for Head of Finance

Liz, our current Head of Finance, has already led a significant change in our approach to finance during her time with the DBF* and will now extend her leadership to working closely with Diocesan Surveyor Shawn Donneky and the Property Team, as well as developing our future approach to stewardship and giving.

Diocesan Secretary David Pain said:

"As part of the new Senior Leadership Team I am confident that Liz will bring the mindset and approach needed to play a full part in the wider leadership of the DBF and within the diocese as a whole.

"She has already led from the front in helping to shape a culture focussed on serving the local church and increasing transparency and accountability, so will hit the ground running as we shape new ways of working.

"Liz will start in the role on February 1st and the transition to the new team structure of Finance, Fundraising and Asset Management will start in early March.
