Moving down the road

by Michael Ford last modified 11 Mar, 2020 05:49 PM

One of our Dorset curates is moving on, but he won't be going very far.

The Revd Lewis Pearson, who was ordained in 2018 by Bishop Nicholas and has been training as an Assistant Curate at St James in Poole, is to be the new Rector of the Winterborne Valley and Milton Abbas Benefice, and custodian trustee of Milton Abbey.

Lewis posted his news on Facebook and said:

"My final service at St James Poole will be 19th July and we will move over the summer with my licensing TBC but most likely at the beginning of September.

"We are all excited and also a little daunted by the move. 3 years at St James have flown by but it feels like the right time to move on."
