More trees for the Queen's Jubilee
Chapmanslade Primary School is the next group from within the diocese to join the Queen's Green Canopy. Could your community take part?
The children from the school teamed up with residents from Greenhill Grange Residential Home for the project. Some children visited the home where they planted a tree, and then some of the residents came to the school to plant a tree there.
Foundation Govenor, Maggie Thackway, says, "It’s a wonderful example of the school working with the community, and of the younger and older generations working together."
