LPAs join the team
Wiltshire has eight new Lay Pastoral Assistants.
Sue Stanley, Tess Frayling, Liz Lee, Susan Bell, Jenny Denton, Caroline Dunseath all from the White Horse Benefice; Tina Randall from Christchurch, Warminster and Caroline Worthington from the Upper Stour Benefice were commissioned to the Heytesbury Deanery by the Venerable Alan Jeans, Archdeacon of Sarum.
Learning for Discipleshire Co-ordinator Sr Debbie Orriss, who was at the service said:
"It was a joy to be present at the Commissioning of new Lay Pastoral Assistants in the White Horse Benefice last month. I am so encouraged by the numbers of people coming forward to serve the Lord as LPAs and LWLs.
"Look out for our pilot training for Commissioned Lay Pioneers in the autumn"
