Wiltshire and Dorset Police have issued their top tips for the Advent and Christmas season.

Ask neighbours to keep an eye on your home or use timer switches on your lights. - Plan Christmas nights out:
Arrange transport in advance. Make sure someone knows when you are coming home. - Be sensible with alcohol:
Know your limit. Never drink and drive. - Don't announce holidays on Facebook:
You don’t know who is looking. - When Christmas shopping:
Keep wallets and purses out of sight.
2020 is also the 'Covid Christmas'.
Wiltshire Police have already thanked the Wiltshire public for their continuing help and support in the virus period.
Dorset Police have reassured their communities that they are doing everything possible to provide a visible presence and deal with any Covid-19-related calls they receive.
Please pray for and encourage your police services this Christmas. Remember all those working over Christmas 2020 to keep others safe.
