Green Screen Fun
Many of our clergy are learning new skills as they broadcast services, daily prayers and reflections from their sitting rooms, kitchens, studies, and even sheds.
From live-streaming to the use of green screen to place services 'inside' closed churches, there has been a generous response to the need to find new ways of working during the coronavirus pandemic, along with a sharp learning curve for some.
So after Easter, they can be forgiven for taking some time off and, in some cases, having a bit of fun.
In our Easter edition of Grapevine we featured the Revd Stephen Partridge of St Mary's Church Lytchett Matravers, who used computer generation and a 'green screen' to look like he was in the church, while he was actually in the shed on the vicarage lawn.
But after Easter Stephen decided to try out 'visiting' a few more locations for his services.
