Get ready to Ride+Stride

On Saturday 14 September, churches throughout our Diocese will be opening their doors to cyclists, walkers and horseriders, who will be setting out to ride and stride around the countryside visiting some of our many historic places of worship.

Ride+Stride is organised by the Historic Churches Trust, who have County Trusts in both Dorset and Wiltshire.

The money raised helps to save historic churches, chapels and meeting houses for future generations by helping to fund urgent repairs and the installation of modern facilities. Each year, the event raises over £1 million pounds to help fund urgent repairs to historic churches and chapels.
