Focussing on the Environment
This Sunday, our churches will mark Climate Sunday which launches the Church's Season of Creation.
Bishop Nicholas, lead bishop for the environment says:
“More than ever, we are coming to recognise how caring for God’s Earth is central to our faith.
“It is always striking to see the wonderfully diverse ways parishes choose to mark a day focussing on the environment.
“The Church of England is committed to tackling the climate emergency and, earlier this year, General Synod agreed an ambitious target to achieve ‘net zero’ carbon emissions."
