A festival can be an excellent opportunity to open your churches, to display the work of gifted people, and also make the venue an unforgettable joy to visitors.
That's the view of St Peter's Parkstone in Dorset who have created a special Flower Festival on the theme of the sea, with water, fishing, boats, all of which ties in beautifully with the Church's patron.
In addition to flowers a photographic exhibition of Poole, music and a competition for children of “a garden on a baking tray” will be on offer from Friday 28th June to Sunday 30th.
