Family isolation, Pilsdon-style
Self-isolation with your family has a different feel at the Pilsdon Community near Bridport in Dorset.

Founded in 1958, the Pilsdon Community offers a refuge to people in crisis, welcoming those from all backgrounds and from many different walks of life – whether young or old, rich or poor.
Together, this "family" of around 25 people shares a common life of prayer, hospitality and work, providing an environment of acceptance and friendship where people can begin to rebuild their lives.
Sue Langdon from the Community explains their life under lockdown:
"Living together as one household means we are isolated all together, and this gives us so much.
"Everyone at Pilsdon is pulling together as we find slightly different patterns of life. The main patterns remain the same and we are so grateful for our church and house chapel.
"Because we are one household, we are able to offer a Eucharist and hold everyone with us as we do.
"We are building our book of intercessions and pray faithfully during our fourfold offices for many people now."
