Faith at Home

#FaithAtHome will feature weekly video content to help families to talk about faith and pray together.

The videos will be led by children, young people, staff and school leaders from across the country.

Over the next three months, #FaithAtHome will explore themes including courage, patience, generosity, resilience, love and hope.

Faith at Home is a national campaign that builds on the work of Growing Faith and Everyday Faith to support the faith development and pastoral care of children and young people.

‘Hope’ was the topic for the first assembly at the Oak National Academy, led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

The Oak National Academy was set up to provide video lessons and curriculum resources to assist teachers as they support pupils through the current COVID-19 restrictions.

The assembly will be followed by weekly collective worship, provided in partnership by the Church of England and Oak National Academy, with content drawn from #FaithAtHome.

Faith at Home, It also seeks to provide support for pent/carers, as well as church and school leaders, providing a variety of quality resources and videos, designed to inspire & encourage everyone involved in this important ministry.

As a Growing Faith trailblazer Diocese we will be reflecting on how we can incorporate this initiative into our existing and developing work.
