Expressing faith through poetry
"Poetry has a funny way of getting under your skin and connecting heart and head in joyous, life-giving and challenging ways."
Well, that's the hope of the organisers of an evening with Dorset poet and priest, the Revd Ruth Wells.
Ruth will explore explore her own faith formation through performance poetry, threaded with theological reflection.
St Mary's Church, West Moors is offering the evening under their 'Insights' initiative called ‘Formation; finding The Divineand expressing faith through poetry.'
Gillian Clarke, from St Mary's said:
"We hope this evening will lead you on a journey filled with joy and challenge."
The event takes place Tuesday 11 February, 7.30—9pm, at St Mary’s Church Hall, West Moors BH22 0JF.
