Dogs Without Collars

by Michael Ford last modified 16 Apr, 2019 03:01 PM

A rock band which consists entirely of Vicars from Dorset is playing on home turf this April.

Dogs Without Collars will be performing at St Barnabas, Bearwood on 26 April, where band member and Team Vicar Geoff Boland is based.

Geoff said:

"I can't believe it but we started the band in 2006 when we were all in the Salisbury Diocese. It was initially just to play at the Clergy Conference but following that we carried on, the rest is history.

"Our set list covers Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Elvis, Gerry Rafferty, Pink floyd and many more.

"We are now spread around the country with Graham Perryman in Wiltshire, Laurie Clow in Amersham, Clive Thomas retired in Ilfracombe, and Tim Storey in Telford. We have committed ourselves to playing two gigs a year but only in our home venues."
