Diocesan Synod discusses 'mixed-ecology' church
Mixed ecology Church is a hot topic among Christians at the moment, especially as we look to the future, and are still emerging from the effects of a global pandemic on individual parishes.
It looks like mixed ecology Church, the idea of new communities that complement already existing churches, is the way forward for many.
This was discussed at Diocesan Synod on Saturday (12 February), along with stories of hope and success shared by individuals who have already tried this way of doing church. You may have noticed these stories popping up in the diocesan news, too – churches seeing growth as they’ve made outdoor services a regular part of their calendar, or found new ways for families to connect with scripture.
Hear from Rural Field Officer, The Revd Rhona Floate, alongside some of these stories and reflections from Diocesan Synod, here.
