Delight and excitement greeted news of Dean Stephen’s arrival to Salisbury Diocese. Read on to hear his latest interviews.
On Thursday 13 January, on a crisp sunny morning, the Dean of Gloucester arrived at the Diocesan Education Centre for the announcement of his nomination for election as Bishop of Salisbury. What followed was a busy day touring the diocese, meeting new faces who play a part in serving their local communities. They were able to share their stories, and in return Dean Stephen shared his heart and intention for the people of Salisbury Diocese
It truly was a day of celebration, with social media notifications pinging at speed, as the news was shared and re-tweeted! The BBC and ITV, along with other radio and news stations were keen to speak to Dean Stephen, to hear more about his appointment, follow along as he was introduced to the diocese, and also welcomed back to his hometown, Poole.
