Could you be a Salisbury Hospital Chaplaincy Visitor?

by Michael Ford last modified 03 Sep, 2019 04:08 PM

Might God be calling you to a new venture in caring for others?

Our Chaplaincy Team at Salisbury District Hospital would value your help. Our Visitors go round the wards on a regular basis, visiting patients and their families, spending time supporting them and, when appropriate, offering prayer, Communion or more at the bedside. This ministry of presence and companionship helps people to recover faster and go home sooner.

If you feel you might be able to volunteer for half a day each week, or an occasional Sunday morning, at Salisbury District Hospital, we would love to hear from you. Please contact our ecumenical Chaplaincy Team if you would like to know more or explore other possibilities:

Direct line: 01722 429271
Or email John Detain, our Lead Chaplain: .
